The time of the book of Judges was a grotesque and intense time, but in some ways, not too different from our time, because the theme in the book of Judges is "everyone did what was right in their own eyes". As we walk through several of these Judges over the next few weeks, we see how God worked within that system to make his kingdom come into this world despite the circumstances.
