Content as Cats
Sometimes I just like to watch what’s happening around me and reflect on it. I’m sure I’m not alone. I know others who ‘people watch’ or ‘bird watch’ but I’m not just focused on people or animals. I like to look at the whole picture around me. I think we get a better understanding of our world when we simply watch and listen and observe.
And especially when we have a new experience or environment. For me, I’m learning all sorts of things about cats. Simply watching them helps me understand their behavior. Now, I had cats growing up, but they were barn cats, so I didn’t get to observe them regularly throughout the day. The cats I have now, however, give me a chance to see how they behave more of the time.
And what struck me this past week about my cats is how content they seem to be. My cats may be more docile than others because they let the kids tote them around like bags of flour, but I think most house cats are similar. And I started to wonder why they might appear so content to me. I thought about how their basic needs are met with consistent food and water, a safe environment and the availability of interaction (cat to cat and cat to human). And for a cat, maybe that’s enough.
But then I got to thinking about why I’m not content most of the time. I have all of my basic needs met, and even much more than I even need, but I don’t find contentment in my life all of the time. And that’s more than just worry and anxiety, but an actual longing for more in my life.
So, what makes me discontent in my life? Well, I think there’s a very good discontentment that we naturally have that we need to pay attention to, like discontentment with injustice or bad habits in our life. But what about financial contentment or relational contentment. Why do we always want more? I think part of it is the good discontentment leaks into the bad discontentment. But even more it’s about defining what we need. We know what’s out there. We know what we don’t have. And if we don’t define what we truly need, then we’ll always be searching for something more.
Paul writes to his protégé Timothy in 1 Timothy 6.6-8: “But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.” Paul defines contentment as food and clothing. I would say he is assuming our relationship with God and with others, but he keeps it pretty simple. So I pray we define what we truly need and, with God’s help, learn to be content with that. God bless.

Hey guys,
Hey guys,
I've been checking out the world of internet gambling lately, and I’ve gotta say — it’s a total blast. At first, I was super skeptical. I mean, how do you even believe in an online platform with your cash, right? But after doing a ton of research (and trying out a few questionable sites so you can avoid that mess), I figured out a few things that set apart a reliable casino from a complete fraud. First off, if you’re new to all this, here’s the golden rule: **check the license**. If a casino doesn’t have a proper license (like from the MGA or the UKGC), just walk away. No bonus is worth the gamble of never seeing your money again. Also — and I know no one wants to — check the terms. That’s the only way to know what kind of playthrough limits they’ve slapped onto those so-called “amazing” bonuses.
Now, let me share a site I’ve been playing on these last few weeks. It’s been a game-changer. The interface? Super easy to navigate. Payouts? Quick — like 24 hours quick. And the game selection? *Insane*. Slots, live dealers, blackjack, even some oddball options I hadn’t tried before. Check it out here: https://sunday-class-school.com/god-will-rather-love-you-than-leave-you/ What really won me over was the help desk. I had a tiny issue with a bonus not working, and they got back to me in like no time. Compare that to other sites where you’re just ghosted by support — yeah, no thanks.
Also, if you’re into bonuses (and who isn’t?), this place offers some awesome ones. But here’s the trick: don’t just chase bonuses. It’s smarter to get reasonable terms than a huge bonus you’ll never be able to withdraw. I’m not saying you should go and blow your whole paycheck — please don’t. But if you’ve got a little extra cash and you’re looking for a chill way to spend an evening, online casinos can totally deliver. Just keep your head on, control your bankroll, and don’t treat it like a side hustle. It’s for fun, not for a paycheck. Anyway, just wanted to drop my experience here in case anyone’s interested or trying to find a trustworthy place to play. If you’ve got your own stories or even some casino nightmares, I’m all ears — love talking shop about this stuff.
Good luck out there, and spin smart, win big ??
Hey people,

But after spending hours researching (and trying out a few dodgy sites so you won’t have to), I figured out a few things that separate a trustworthy casino from a complete fraud. First off, if you’re new to all this, here’s the golden rule: **licenses matter**. If a casino doesn’t have a proper regulatory certificate (like from the MGA or the UKGC), just walk away. No bonus is worth the gamble of never seeing your money again. Also — and I know no one wants to — check the terms. That’s the only way to know what kind of hidden traps they’ve slapped onto those so-called “juicy” bonuses.
Now, let me share a site I’ve been hooked on these last few weeks. It’s been a breath of fresh air. The interface? Super easy to navigate. Payouts? No waiting around. And the game selection? *Wild*. Slots, live dealers, blackjack, even some unique stuff I hadn’t tried before. The world of virtual gambling has seen a surge in recognition over recent years, with diverse choices captivating players' attention. This article analyzes the intricacies of Dragon Tiger, assessing its gameplay, strategies, and the draw of playing for cash prizes. We will also examine the availability of the **Dragon Tiger APK** for smartphone users, supplying insights into how to enhance your time.
Dragon Tiger is understood to have originated in Cambodia and has since grown to casino floors worldwide, particularly in Southeast Asia. The game's ease and dynamic nature have made it a go-to game among both seasoned gamblers and newcomers. Unlike many other card games that require elaborate strategies and skills, Dragon Tiger relies strongly on luck, making it an inviting choice for those in search of a brief gaming experience. At its foundation, Dragon Tiger is akin to traditional baccarat but modifies the wagering process. The game is played with a standard group of 52 cards, and the goal is to guess which of the two hands—Dragon or Tiger—will have a larger value. Players choose their bets before the dealer displays the cards. The hand with the superior card takes the prize, and ties are also attainable, adding an extra layer of interest. Our website: https://dragontiger-in.pages.dev/
Players can set several types of bets, including betting on the Dragon, the Tiger, or a tie. The profits varies depending on the kind of bet placed, with ties typically giving the largest payout due to their rarity. This easy betting structure makes Dragon Tiger easy to play to a wide audience, further contributing to its popularity in online casinos.

Hey fellow tech pros,
Ever feel like every cybersecurity event or forum is just a disguised sales pitch? I did too—until I found this nonprofit platform that’s quietly revolutionizing how IT, OT, and AI security professionals collaborate. Let me break down why you’ll want to get involved ASAP.
First off, imagine sitting in a room (or virtual space) with top-tier IT execs from Fortune 100 companies, tackling real-world challenges like asset discovery, microsegmentation, or securing AI deployments. No vendors pushing products. No fluff. Just raw, actionable insights from people who’ve been in the trenches. That’s what their RoundTable events deliver. I walked away with strategies I implemented the next day—finally, a place where “business impact” isn’t just a buzzword.
But here’s the kicker: there’s a massive skills gap in OT and AI security, and this org is bridging it. They’re partnering with military agencies, colleges, and trade schools to train and place talent in high-demand roles. If you’re transitioning from the military, a recent grad, or just looking to pivot into OT/AI security, they’re your backstage pass to opportunities most never see.
For employers? They’re a goldmine for vetted experts. I’ve referred my own team to their job program—finally, a pipeline of talent that actually gets it.
Oh, and it’s all nonprofit. No hidden agendas. Just a 25-year industry vet and a team obsessed with securing our digital world. They even offer sponsor spots for companies wanting to showcase thought leadership (without the cringe sales vibe).
